PBD Group was founded by Nick Dodson in 2019 with one simple aim: to bring honest, expert water services to homes and businesses across Essex, London and the South East.

Nick’s story started at just 20 years old, when he decided he wanted to build a business of his own. A plumber by trade, he upskilled into drainage and then leak detection over the years — and as PBD grew organically, those three specialisms became the three divisions you see today.

Now Nick’s focus is on growing the business and networking, though he’ll always pick up the tools when a job calls for it. A natural entrepreneur with exceptional leadership skills, he built PBD around a simple belief: customers should have every water service at their fingertips, every job solved properly, and the best possible experience along the way. His priorities are clear — customers first, and the team who looks after them.
